Queen Maud Keto Fromage
Queen Maud Fromage is a famous dessert. And it's not difficult to make it into a diet-friendly low carb dessert. A deliciousness that tastes great in all seasons!
3 tbsp powdered erythritol, confectioners
2 tbsp tagatose or xylitol
5 sheets gelatin
5 dl whipping cream
100 grams dark chocolate, 70% cacao or darker
Queen Maud Keto Fromage Directions
Whip the cream, and place it in the fridge.
Grate the chocolate with a grater, grinder, or food processor.
Place the gelatin sheets in cold water.
Get a bowl ready that is completely clean and dry (do not use the one you whipped cream in). And use completely clean whisks for this. Beat eggs together with the two different sweeteners. Whisk until it thickens and the color lightens (this process takes about 10 min with an electric mixer).
Squeeze and shake the water out of the now soft gelatin sheets, and dissolve them together in a cup with 2 tablespoons of boiling water. Then pour the melted gelatin mixture into the egg mixture while continuously whisking on low speed That way the gelatin is evenly and well mixed into the egg mixture.
Take the cream out of the fridge and mix it gently into the egg mixture by using a hand balloon whisk or spatula. Stir enough to remove the cream stains, but not as much that the mousse sinks completely.
Pour 1/3 of the Fromage mousse into a large dessert bowl. Sprinkle some of the chocolate on top. Pour over another 1/3 of the mousse and sprinkle the chocolate on top again. Finally, pour the rest of the mousse and the rest of the grated chocolate on top.
Put the bowl in the fridge for a few hours or overnight until the mousse has set.
